- Christmas is a mystery from God the Father to us. First, we need to accept it as a mystery. “Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past” (Rom 16:25). This is one of the reasons it’s difficult for an unbeliever to accept the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Prov 25: 2) says “It’s the glory of God to conceal a matter” and (1 Cor 2: 7) says “We declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.“
- Because of the birth of Christ, he is able to “stērizō“ that means, to make stable and to keep us from evil. That’s what apostle Paul says in (Rom 16:25) “Now to him who is able to establish (stērizō) you in accordance with my gospe“.
- In other for us to believe and obey God through faith, that’s why God reveal Christ to us. “but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith“ (Rom 16: 26). This great mystery was planned for God own glory verse 27 of Rom 16 says “To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.”
