The Two Great Mysteries of Christmas

In my previous post I share some light about “The hidden or secret of Christmas

Always things that come from God are foolishness to the man without the Spirit of God. Christmas present to us Two Great Mysteries as follows.

A. Incarnation of the “WORD”

In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 It’s clear that this is difficult and beyond human understanding. The other day Nicodemus exclaims “How can this be?” when Jesus said, “No one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit..” (John 3:1-21)

The incarnation of the word means Christ and the Church. The mystery is that “Through the gospel, the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.”

To have access to the secrets of the Kingdom of God, you must understand the mystery of Christ’s birth. (Math 13: 11)

B. The “WORD” was made flesh

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1: 14)

This is the second great Christmas mystery to humanity. The word became flesh and “dwelt among us”. Among us should be rendered as dwells “in” us. As a result of Christ dwelling in us, we became a member of His body, the church.

In the next post, I will share “What is the meaning of Christmas to us”.

I pray may the Lord Jesus Christ whom I serve enlightens your understanding to know him more. Amen.
