What’s up? This is Prophet Lucky, and welcome back to The Life Cycle of Jesus Christ.

We are currently on the second stage, which is the childhood and early life of Jesus.

Now, just to have a quick recap. Remember, when Mary was found to be pregnant, Joseph was troubled. But an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and told him not to be afraid to take Mary as his wife. The angel also revealed that the child would be named Jesus.

So, Jesus was born.

The Childhood of Jesus

Biblical references: Luke 2:21–24; Matthew 1:20–21

The Bible tells us that on the eighth day after His birth, Jesus was circumcised and named Jesus.

This is very interesting because that was the same name the angel of the Lord had revealed to Joseph in a dream.

So Joseph stuck to that name.

Now, after the days of purification, approximately forty days after His birth, Mary and Joseph took Jesus to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord, according to the law of Moses.

And something very interesting happened.

Simeon and the Holy Spirit

Biblical references: Luke 2:25–35

The Bible tells us about a man named Simeon, who was just and devout, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

More importantly, the Holy Spirit had revealed to Simeon that he would not see death until he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

You see?

We don’t know exactly how old Simeon was. Perhaps he was elderly, but what we know is that he was faithful and devoted to God.

Now, when Mary and Joseph brought Jesus to the temple, Simeon was also there.

But notice something.

The Bible tells us that Simeon was led by the Holy Spirit into the temple.

So, the Holy Spirit had already revealed something to him, and when the time came, the same Spirit led him to the place where he would encounter Jesus.

Simeon took Jesus in his arms and blessed God. He also blessed His parents and told Mary that Jesus would face opposition.

This is very interesting.

My Personal Experience: The Mystery of the World

Now, there is a popular Christian song, “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands.”

This reminds me of something I personally experienced.

There was a time when, before going to sleep, I asked King Jesus a question.

I said, “Father, reveal to me the mystery of this world.”

And in my dream, I found myself entering a place that looked like a cave.

Inside, there was something like a telescope. At first, I saw a friend of mine near it.

Now, when I looked through the telescope, I saw something very interesting.

It saw the entire world, I still can’t describe it using words. I became afraid. I pulled back and woke up.

Now, that is a mystery.

And whenever I remember that dream, I think about that popular song about God holding the whole world in His hands.

What Can We Learn From Simeon?

Biblical references: Luke 2:26–27; Romans 8:14

Now, coming back to Simeon.

If you look at his story carefully, the Holy Spirit revealed something to him, and the same Spirit led him into the temple.

In the first stage of Jesus’ life cycle, we saw how God communicated with Joseph through dreams.

But here, we see how the Holy Spirit revealed something to Simeon and guided him.

So, what am I trying to say?

Sometimes, when you pray, you may receive an impression or a sense of direction concerning a decision you want to make.

Perhaps you decide to take your car and drive somewhere, visit a particular place, or take a different direction.

Sometimes, you may not immediately understand why.

But if you look at Simeon, the Holy Spirit had already revealed something to him, and when the time came, he was led to the right place.

So, to sum everything up, pay attention to your dreams, be prayerful, and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit when making decisions.

Thank you.
