Glory to Jesus! Today, I want to talk about absolutely surrendering to Jesus. That will be my topic for today: completely and absolutely surrendering to Jesus.

If you are still dealing with perversion, if you are still dealing with hatred within you, or if you are dealing with anything that is not aligned with the Fruit of the Spirit, this message is for you. As God’s Word reminds us:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” — Galatians 5:22–23

We know that the Fruit of the Spirit lists the virtues we ought to possess. Of course, sometimes we might step outside of that list, but later on, we return and align ourselves back to the Fruit of the Spirit.

Surrender Requires Consistency, Not Just Words

For those of you who really want to absolutely surrender your life to Jesus, it is not by word solely, and it is not merely by the confession of with mouth. It requires a degree of consistency.

As I always say, one of the active weapons from the kingdom of darkness is perversion.

I was talking with someone recently where I said, “The problem with us, our generation this new generation is early exposure to perversion.” It will detour you. It will make you less concentrated, and the ability for you to concentrate will become a problem for you. Ultimately, it will always destroy your life.

That is why the Bible guides us that we should flee from all sorts of perversion. It is like a chain, a deep hole, and a pleasure that you cannot satisfy from it. You will not. The only One that will satisfy you is Christ Jesus. I don’t know how to echo it, but if I want to echo it, it would be a loud sound: Only Jesus Christ will satisfy you!

To be absolutely surrendered means you have to completely surrender to Jesus. He is calling you to purity; He is calling you to holiness. You have to surrender to Jesus, absolutely.

4 Practical Steps to Overcome Perversion and Completely Surrender Here are the concrete steps you must take, especially those of you who really want to completely surrender to Jesus and give up that perversion:

Cleanse Your Social Media

We are heavily flooded with social media. Look at your timeline: on your social media, you have to delete and unfollow any provocative objects or media. Humans, in one way or another, can be used by spiritual forces without even knowing it. You have to protect your eyes. You need to guard what you see, watch, and look at.

Eliminate Provocative Media

You need to do away with movies and videos that stir up perversion. Distance yourself from content featuring folks who dress with the intent to stir the lust within you. You need to do away with it completely.

Pray in Tongues to Break Strongholds

If you find your body in a state of desire that you are not in control of—a state of something where you are not the one controlling it—you need to pray it off. You can go to YouTube and search for “Prophet Lucky Perete praying in tongues for 15 minutes.” Just play it and pray along with me for 15 minutes. It will diminish that stronghold spirit. It is a spirit; it may feel natural in your body, but you can destroy it.

Fast and Stay Vigilant in Prayer

If you have the capability, you can fast. If you do not have the capability right now, that is fine—but just make sure that you pray whenever you feel those perverted desires rising up.

By doing this, you will be completely surrendered to Jesus.
