Pride destroyed Satan, and it’s the basic cause of his downfall from heaven. King Jesus said, ” I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven” Luke 10:18. I always speak about what I have seen spiritually. In my previous post titled Your Body Is a Vessel (Becareful of Evil Spirits), I talked about how we as human beings are vessels spirits want to live in. Bible says ” Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own “ 1 Corinthians 6:19. With this, it’s evidence that both good and evil spirits can reside in us, and influence our behavior.
Isaiah 14: 12-15 and Ezekiel 28: 13-17 recorded the reason for the fall of lucifer. He was not created as a devil but as an angel. But pride destroyed him. He said to himself ” I will make myself like the Most High. ” Be careful as well. Do not allow the spirit of pride to destroy you on earth realm. Some of your set-back is as a result of the spirit of priding working in your without you knowing it. Try as much as possible to be humble yourself whilst dealing with a human on earth.
